Self-paced with Van Tour Our Self-paced tours are longer than any other unguided tour on the island (30 miles). Our $69.95 tour includes a van tour of the National Park along with 30 miles of biking at your own comfortable pace. Following your tour of the House of the Sun Visitor Center and Haleakala Visitor Center you will bike from 7,000 feet elevation and end at Baldwin Beach in Paia. Clients meet our tour guides at Starbucks Coffee in the Maui Market Place (Kahului) at 8:00 a.m. Transportation to the summit, lunch at Sunrise Market and Protea Farm, 27 speed Marin mountain bikes, helmet, Columbia Sportswear windbreaker pants and jacket, gloves and backpacks are provided. Upon completion of your bike ride, shuttle service back to Starbucks Coffee will be provided.
