Since 1987, the Old Lahaina Luau has been acclaimed for presenting Maui's most authentic and entertaining Hawaiian luau. Those who join us are treated to a truly memorable evening of traditional Hawaiian cuisine, music, cultural dances and island crafts. Our guests appreciate a genuine reflection of Hawaii's rich history while enjoying a spectacular ocean view and sunset.

Driving Directions

Maui highway and street names may seem complicated, but it is actually easy to find your way around and there are very few roads. Old Lahaina Luau is easily accessible from any point on Maui. Simply click on the map for directions once you arrive in Lahaina.

Seven nights a week. Schedule may vary (please use the form below to inquire about availability).

April 1 - September 30th
Luau grounds open at 6:00 p.m.; Entertainment ends at 9:00 p.m.

October 1- March 31st
Luau grounds open at 5:30 p.m.; Entertainment ends at 8:30 p.m.

Description of the Luau
Flower Lei Greeting, Cocktails and Hawaiian Crafts Your evening begins with a traditional lei greeting and a delicious tropical beverage of your choice. Our greeters will escort you to your seats. Photographers are available for souvenir photos, available at the end of the evening (with no obligation to purchase). Stroll the grounds and "talk story" as local island crafts are demonstrated along the beach.
Imu Presentation Guests are welcome to gather around as we unearth the Kalua Pua'a (Roast Pork) from the traditional underground oven at the southern end of the lu'au grounds, where it has been cooking since early morning. Luau Buffet Hosts will escort each table to the abundant buffet and explain the wide variety of selections. Related Link: Please see ourMenupage. Seating Unlike other luaus, all seating is reserved and assigned at the Old Lahaina Luau, so the earlier you book, the better seats you will have! Please choose between the two types of seating for your luau: Traditional Seating: if available sells out first, sitting on pillows at tables, closest seating to the show as this is the first row of tables, but remember you are sitting on the ground for at least two hours. Table/Chair Seating: you will receive table/chair seating if you do not request which type of seating. Also, please let us know of any special considerations (infant, wheelchair, etc.) at the time the reservation is made.

Due to popular demand the luau is currently sold out 21 days in advance.
Advance reservations are necessary. No reservation will be guaranteed without a confirmation number

Child: $55.00 (4.166% State tax) (12 years old and under)
