From Diamond Head to the Lush Tropical Forests and the Oahu Coastline After a leisurely morning on your own, join us for a much-requested, breathtaking afternoon guided tour of Oahu's eastern coastline including Diamond Head crater up to Oahu's lush rain forests and rocky cliffs, a picturesque journey sometimes referred to as "little circle island." Begin the circle in Waikiki, then off to Diamond Head, Kahala and Aina Haina. We continue the picturesque journey to Hanauma Bay, Hawaii's only Nature Preserve and Marine Life Conservation District, for a scenic lookout view of mother nature's perfect aquarium. Then, we'll stop at Halona "Blow Hole" Lookout, where the larger the ocean wave, the larger the spray as water shoots as high as 30 feet in the air through a lava tube. Our coastline journey continues along with Sandy Beach known for its challenging shore breaks and a favorite among experienced surfers, boogie boarder and locals. Before reaching Hawaiian homestead in Waimanalo for a rest stop, you'll see Makapu'u Lookout and catch a glimpse of Manana Island, once the home to colonies of rabbits; hence the nickname, "Rabbit Island." The final stop on this Afternoon Delight of Coastlines and Cliff is up Nuuanu Pali Lookout. It is here that King Kamehameha and his warriors defeated Oahu armies by sending them over the steep forested cliffs claiming victory and uniting the Hawaiian Islands. The breathtaking sight coupled with this gruesome history of battle may sweep you off your feet if not the amazing winds that often pass through the Pali.
