In July 2005, Old Lahaina Luau launched a Hawaiian Cultural Tour called Hoomanao. Held in the mornings at the oceanfront home of the Old Lahaina Luau, this new venue celebrates the rich host culture of the Hawaiian Islands. Experience a glimpse into the history and traditions of Kanaka Maoli or Native Hawaiian. Hoomanao (ho-oh-ma-na-o), meaning, "to remember", is an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the ingenuity and resourcefulness of an ancient culture that thrived on the most isolated Islands on earth. Guests are greeted by our friendly hosts with Kukui Nut Lei and a Lauhala Fan.
